care instructions

• Keep it out of direct sunlight and away from warm spots — heaters, ovens, sunny windowsills. Warmth is a bobo balloon's least favorite thing.
• Avoid the cold, too. Your float is happiest at comfortable room temperature. Balloons naturally shrink a little in cold air and expand in warmth — this is normal and can't be avoided, though big swings may shorten its life.
• Mind the sharp things. Keep your float away from sharp corners, edges, textured walls, jewelry, and enthusiastic pets — bobo balloons puncture easily.
• Handle with gentle hands. Carry your float by its base, basket, or weight rather than squeezing the balloon itself.
• Never leave it in a car for extended periods, especially overnight — temperatures in a parked car swing quickly in both directions.

• Place your float on a flat, stable surface — the footwell or a flat trunk floor works beautifully.
• Run the air conditioning on warm days; a cool cabin keeps the balloon relaxed.
• Drive like there's a cake on board. There basically is.

• Helium floats typically float for one to several weeks. As the helium slowly says goodbye, your balloon will soften and drift lower — part of its natural, graceful aging.
• Air-filled floats (in baskets, on stands, or hugging a wine bottle) tend to keep their shape for weeks to months when cared for.
• Personalized lettering may wrinkle slightly as the balloon slowly relaxes over time — this is part of the natural aging process and can't be avoided.

• Switch the lights off when you're out or asleep — the battery pack will thank you and last much longer.
• Batteries can be replaced when they run out; find the small battery pack tucked near the base.
• Keep spare button batteries well away from little ones and pets.
